Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your Plugeasy account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to the Plugeasy application (com.plugeasy.charge_app) published on Google Play by Plugeasy Technologies Private Limited.

Delete from within the app

Sign in to your account in the Plugeasy app and open the account settings section, where you can manage your personal information, including updating, amending, or deleting it.

Request deletion from this page

Enter the mobile number your account is registered under. We will contact you to confirm the account is yours, and then delete it. Nothing is deleted at the moment you press the button: a phone number on its own does not prove an account belongs to the person typing it, and an account, once deleted, cannot be brought back.

Request deletion by email

You can also request account deletion without using the app. Write to info@plugeasy.in from the email address registered to your account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. Include the phone number or email your account is registered under so we can locate it. We will confirm the request and delete the account.

You may also use this address to request access to, correction of, or deletion of specific personal information without deleting your whole account.

What is deleted, and what may be retained

Deleting your account removes the personal data we have collected about you, as described in our privacy policy. Please note that we may need to retain certain information where we have a legal obligation or lawful basis to do so — for example, records we are required to keep under applicable law, or data needed to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Usage data retained for internal analysis is generally kept for a shorter period, as the privacy policy describes.
